Want Free Auto Show Footage? Here's How...
So at the time of writing, I am currently heading home from the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), also known as the Detroit Auto Show. And what I have to say about it? Wow. This was my second "big" auto show ever (I went to New York when I was about nine years old), and boy, there were some great offerings! I have so many thoughts to gather as well, and it's a good thing I recorded it on video. Speaking of video, here's a cool opportunity for you video content creators who love cars.
(In the style of a charity video) Every year, there are plenty of unfortunate gearheads who end up unable to attend the Detroit Auto Show. With just this blog post link, you can save a gearhead from tears.
Okay, really. I noticed that there are plenty of YouTubers (especially smaller ones like me) who want to use some auto show footage in their videos. Well, I have decided to allow some of my auto show footage for use in your videos, with some strings attached. Here's the deal:
1) The footage must have my logo on it. It won't be covering the entire screen, instead it would be in a lower corner.
2) Give my channel a shoutout in your video.
3) Include a link to my channel both on the video and in the channel description.
That's pretty much it. I am still sorting through all the videos, so I do not have one place where you can watch them all now. I made my best attempt at keeping the videos devoid of people walking right into the shot, but it's not 100% perfect. Oh, did I mention that I will allow you to monetize your final product? Yes, you read that correctly!
